Queer Bookclub in May offers an extra treat as we host Nikki Pimentel, the author of "In My Mind's Eye" ! Nikki will be co-facilitating our discussion about their book, offering personal insight into the inspirations, creative process, and lived experiences behind the work. This month's book is a potent offering from revolutionary ancestor Assata Shakur. This autobiography, woven with some of our favorite poetry by the writer, chronicles Assata's childhood, revolutionary relationships, and of course, her work as a Black Panther and later political prisoner.
